Terms and Conditions for Participation in Global Jump Start (GJS) Events Acceptance of Terms By registering for, attending, or otherwise participating in any event hosted by Global Jump Start (GJS) ("Event"), you acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions. Your acceptance of these Terms is binding and irrevocable. Failure to comply with these Terms may result in your registration being canceled, denial of participation, or removal from the Event without refund or compensation. GJS reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Event Code of Conduct GJS is committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful environment. All participants are expected to adhere to our Code of Conduct, which prohibits: Harassment, discrimination, or any behavior that disrupts the event or undermines the dignity of others, based on race, ethnicity, gender identity, religion, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic. Inappropriate or disruptive behavior, whether in-person or virtual. Participants are encouraged to report any concerns to event staff or contact [email protected]. Registration Requirements Participants must provide accurate and complete registration information by the stated deadline. Registration is personal and non-transferable. Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian’s consent to participate. A parental consent form is required and can be submitted online. Personal Data Usage By registering, you consent to GJS collecting, using, and storing your personal data for event administration and communication purposes, in compliance with GJS’s privacy policies. GJS will not share or sell your personal data without explicit permission, except as necessary to manage the event. Broadcast and Media Consent Events may be recorded or broadcasted, and GJS may capture photos, videos, or audio recordings of participants for promotional purposes. By attending, you grant GJS permission to use these recordings without compensation. Participants are not allowed to record event sessions without prior written consent from GJS. Liability and Assumption of Risk Participation in GJS events is voluntary. By attending, you assume all risks associated with participation and release GJS from any liability for personal injury, loss, or damage. Age and Eligibility All attendees must be at least 18 years old unless otherwise specified. Minors may participate with a signed parental/guardian consent form. Compliance with Laws Participants must comply with all applicable laws and GJS policies. Any violations may result in removal from the event. Intellectual Property All materials provided during the event remain the property of GJS and may not be used, reproduced, or distributed without permission.
